As if we weren’t fortunate enough to be surrounded by these heart pounding big game animals to hunt. We are only minutes away from New Brunswick’s world famous Miramichi River. In 2018 an estimated 994 000 striped bass will seek refuge in the Northwest Miramichi River.
These fish, which are often referred to as stripers, will often leave you with an unforgettable memory. It is not uncommon to land an estimated 50–75 fish daily weighing anywhere from 8-12 pounds.
Depending on the week your bear hunt is scheduled, it is a fantastic way to spend your spare time once you’ve harvested your bear. You can also fish for striped bass the mornings before your evening bear hunt.
There is no additional cost for a striped bass fishing licence.
